GW 2.3.43.
When having just opened or opened again a file with labels, then pretty often the (e.g., root) diagram's labels cannot be deleted. I need a text editor to delete the L[] field.

Custom Labels for Multiple Intersections
PREFACE Current Gowrite versions (2.3.41 or latest stable versions before) allow custom labels for multiple intersections but it can be very hard to discover this great feature. Therefore let me explain how to use it. WHAT IS A LABEL? It is a (short) character sequence written onto an intersection, ...

Re: Custom Labels for Multiple Intersections
Many thanks for the hints! Now I know the (new?) method of custom labels for multiple intersections. The old methods, which I expected and have mentioned earlier, do not work any longer and it did not occur to me that the drop-down box after "Next label:" would also be an editing field. It...

Re: Dots in Triangles
Please tell me if you want me to test some OpenOffice parameters in the preferences! My currently used OpenOffice version is 3.2. Activating or deactivating anti-aliasing in the view does not have an effect on the markup dots (but on the grid lines as seen on the screen).

Custom Labels for Multiple Intersections
GW 2.3.41 or 2.3.37 or 2.3.36. DirectX_disabled under W7/64b/Prof/German. Under earlier versions (might have been around 2.2.20?), custom labels for multiple intersections worked correctly. Now it does not work at all. Currently (not) working methods: - I do not know any working method for custom la...

Re: Has Arial Changed in Numbers?
The question is the same for GW 2.3.41.

Re: Dots in Triangles
It is the same in GW 2.3.41. It affects triangles and squares. Already in OpenOfficeDraw, the dots are visible, unfortunately.

Has Arial Changed in Numbers?
In GW 2.3.37, I read Arial Bold for Labels and Arial for numbers. In a private log file, I had stored the information that (small) numbers would be using Arial Bold. When printing out an old diagram and a new diagram, I cannot notice a difference in the font. I am confused though. Which is it? Arial...

Dots in Triangles
GW 2.3.37, when exporting to ODG and then opening in OpenOfficeDraw and from there GDI pasting to OpenOfficeWriter, creates black dots in the corners of triangle labels (and presumably also square labels). This changes the appearance of these shapes compared to earlier GW versions. I prefer no dots ...

Re: Remembered Windows Size
I see. I didn't know that opinion-driven discussions (about GW) are not that welcome here; ok, now I know.

I know about "one thread one topic" but beyond that I am not sure what you mean by not RGG style discussion.

Re: Mirror along Board Diagonal
Another thought: You argue that it is "only 2 instead of 1 menu commands". Seems like a small issue for you. For not highlighting the board sizes of a new board to be opened you said something similar. But the problems are: 1) Such seemingly minor editing problems in GW and the text editor...

Re: Remembered Windows Size
Why should it be an IPC problem? I would suspect a programming code problem. Or are all such things for JRE done by JRE on its own? In that case, the programmed code should override it. (Well, in principle. I do not have any idea of how little or much programming effort might be required.)

Re: Remembered Windows Size
Last time I did not watch the processes. Now I have watched them in ProcessExplorer. Whenever a further GW instance is started using, e.g., the desktop symbol, it is a new Gowrite.exe process (without javaw.exe as a child though). After a few seconds, that additional process is killed and the GW win...
